Over the past eleven years, we have had the amazing privilege of ministering, touring and performing with several notable Christian artists including 33 Miles, Aaron Shust, Pocket Full of Rocks, Dennis Jernigan, Phil Keaggy, FFH, Wayne Watson, and Warren Barfield. We have also had the pleasure of appearing on TBN, Daystar Television, The Harvest Show, and several other tv shows. We have been honored to be a guest speaker for events for the cast and staff of Duck Dynasty, Bible League International, American Family Radio and many other organizations. Aside from NewFire, Jonathan has also been a member of the Christian music group FFH for twelve years. In 2016, we moved from Nashville, TN to become worship pastors at a church near Santa Barbara, CA.
We have a real heart for the church and understand the trials facing people of faith. We believe that our message and purpose is to encourage congregations to hold onto the hope of Jesus in uncertain and difficult times and to remember God’s faithfulness. God has allowed us to walk through alot in our eleven years of marriage...infertily, miscarriages, adoption, and the joy/responsibility of raising a special needs child. Through those seasons, we have learned so much about the special way God meets us in the "wilderness" and we love to encourage people to focus on the healer when the hurt seems overwhelming.
Although we do share through our music, we do not come to churches with the intention of doing a concert. In most cases, we come and minister within the context/time frame of your regularly scheduled service, and we do a mix of worship, music, and testimony. We are, however, also available for concerts, conferences and special events. Our music is a blended style, and we have ministered in churches of all denominations and sizes. We try to be sensitive to the needs of all age groups as well. Our goal is to serve a church in whatever ways we can when they host us. We come on a purely love offering basis, and want a church to be lead of the Lord in their giving.
